Current Opportunity: Entry Level Electronics Technician
Satlantic has an immediate opening for an entry level Electronics Technician in our Production department. We are looking for a versatile and energetic Electronics Engineering Technician with one to two years of work experience in an electronics environment. This individual will work in our Electronics lab and be involved in product assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn in a high-tech environment are essential to the position.
Qualifications of the successful candidate include an Electronics Engineering Technician diploma from a recognized institute, strong soldering and assembly skills, the ability to read electronics schematics and assembly diagrams, and a willingness to work on a variety of systems and components.
Brief profile of responsibilities:
- Population, testing, and troubleshooting of circuit boards
- Assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of instrument sub-assemblies
- Field testing of equipment
- Incoming electronic materials verification and tracking
- Outgoing shipment verification and packaging
- Application of personal knowledge and expertise to assigned work
